Our Approach to Treatment
We believe in treating the whole person, not just their symptoms. Our approach to treatment is grounded in the understanding that the mind and body are connected, and that healing one can lead to healing the other. We use a combination of Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Ego parts work, and psychodynamic therapy to help clients release physical tension and emotional stress stuck in their physical body/nervous system. As we apply these tools for growth, you can look forward to relief from daily tension, chronic pain, and recurring mental health distress. In addition, clients often experience an increase in self-awareness, confidence, and resilience through these approaches.

Somatic Experiencing (SE) addresses the root causes of trauma and anxiety symptoms by bringing awareness to your body and helping release the symptoms of stress and trauma stored in the body.
